New every morning

This I recall to my mind , therefore have I hope. It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed , because His compassions fail not . They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness .

Lamentations 3:21-23 (kjv)

This scripture is a reminder of how faithful God is . It’s as if he resets a clock and gives us another opportunity to get things right . Though we can often fail and fall short this is proof that as long as there is breath in our bodies there is opportunity for change .

HOW TO GAIN WISDOM

Proverbs 3:5-8(kjv)

5)Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not to thine own understanding. 6) In all thy ways acknowledge him,  and he shall direct thy paths. 7) Be not wise in thine own eyes; fear the Lord and depart from evil.  8) It shall be health to thy navel and marrow to thy bones.

One of my favorite scriptures.  Sometimes when I just don’t know what to do or I’m just anxious about something this scripture reminds me of who is really in control .

It’s the sign in the road when I’ve lost my way and tried to do things on my own. And without fail always leads me back in way I should go.

It constantly reminds me that in order to be a great leader I must first learn to follow.
